In SMART NOTEBOOK flip chart, students will take part in an introductory lesson to picture writing, which can lead later to more creative writing. Students will use pictures, brainstorm words, and create 6 word memoirs/titles for each picture. This activity fosters word choice, as well as ideas when focusing on the 6 traits of writing.
