Math Art- Autumn Scene
Draw an autumn scene according to the directions provided. Directions are on two different levels and allow children the practice of using both sides of a rule and measuring to the nearest inch, 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch. Students will measure and practice measurement vocabulary (foot, inch, centimeter, decimeter, diameter, radius, etc.).

Winter Scene
Students follow the many directions below (written at 2 levels), in order to draw a winter scene. Geometry vocabulary, as well as measuring to the nearest 1/2 inch are the main focus.
Vocabulary: pentagon, trapezoid, decimeter, cylinder, inches, centimeters, diameter, width, height, symmetrical, etc.
