Food Web Quiz
A short response clicker quiz to review 3rd 4th grade food web unit. Students answer 4 short multiple choice questions about a specific food web, and then 1 short answer written question.

Picture Writing Lesson
In SMART NOTEBOOK flip chart, students will take part in an introductory lesson to picture writing, which can lead later to more creative writing. Students will use pictures, brainstorm words, and create 6 word memoirs/titles for each picture. This activity fosters word choice, as well as ideas when focusing on the 6 traits of writing. Fun and lots to do from here!
Students then focus on the author's/illustrator's message when being asked what they think was the message of the artist.
