This is my Mat Women version of Mat Man. I use this to teach the students how to draw a girl and add all the body parts along with details. I print this 2 sided with a Mat Man version on the back. The students follow along with me as I sing the Mat Man song while adding the body parts on the left one. I change the words to Mat Women and use she instead of He. We talk about how we use he for a boy and she /her for a girl. The students color her triangle dress, add hair, ear rings, crown, and othe
The preview does not include everything. I have also made a report sheet to go along with this. I could not get them on one document page. The words spread apart when copied. I am going to post on here for free under the name Free Biography Project Report Sheet. This is a rubric for a biography project. Students find a book on there reading level about someone from history. They then can either dress up as the person or make a poster puppet ( cut whole out of poster for head and draw body on).
This is a template for a reading book of strategies that studnets can make. There are several different reading strategies that are listed along with a picture at the end of the document. The pictures/reading strategies are not on the preview. Students can cut these out and glue one above and below the pages that are divided in the middle. Then they can write in there on words next to the picture about what the reading strategies mean. They can even draw a picture to go along with their words. T

I believe in a more play based learning experienced. Students learning in centers guided by teacher. Teacher comes over to centers with students and teachers by using materials in centers along with students interest.
