This project is intended for students to explore Mathematics ideas of rotation, translation, reflection, and dilation as well as experiment with Elements and Principles of Art such as Repetition, Pattern, Symmetry, and Colour.

This activity is intended for students to explore ideas in the Principles of Design specifically Patterns along with interesting Fractal Mathematics ideas. For a more math-focused lesson this activity can be done in one lesson and for a more art lesson this can be extended to longer lessons with more complex designs.
