This assessment has a variety of PARCC Like questions and assesses all of the 4th grade Common Core math standards. It also has a section differentiated based on MAPs ranges that students and teachers can use to assess students on differentiated ranges.
This ten question math assessment assesses student's knowledge of Algebraic Thinking Standard 5OAB3. It requires students to complete function tables given a rule, identify a common coordinate point based on two rules, and plot points on a coordinate grid based on a given rule.
In this math challenge, students must design their own amusement park using addition and subtraction skills. They must add up the cost of rides (up through 5 digit numbers) as well as account for discounts and fees that come with each ride!
This fractions assessment contains a wide variety of PARCC like problems which assess all of the Common Core fractions standards. It also contains differentiated sections which students can take based on their MAPs data.
This math challenge requires students to design a new business district for a downtown city. As they add dimensions to their businesses, they must calculate the area of each business and stay under a specified budget. They then must write a letter to the mayor of their city defending their business plan!
Note: This is specific for Hagerstown, MD, but please feel free to modify it for your town!
This contains 2D Geometry vocabulary for students, with space for students to fill in the definition and create an illustration for each term. Feel free to insert your own geometry terms as needed!
This assessment covers all grade Grade 4 and 5 Common Core Standards and is set up with PARCC like questions. There is also a differentiated section at the end of the assessment which covers MAPs skills for Operations and Algebraic Thinking.
This assignment provides specific goals for students and parents and provides online resources for students to master these goals as well as a place for them to document any struggles they have with the assignment.
This project requires students to create a presentation by photographing things in the real world which depict specific geometry criteria. There are specific geometry terms listed and space for you to have students add their own terms!
This organizer can be used with students to set personal goals. The document takes them through the process of setting an objective, determining their steps for mastering the objective, what resources they will need for this goal, and how they will demonstrate mastery of the goal.
Students will use line plots with fractional scales along with other types of graphs (differentiated based on MAPs range) to create an infomercial which supports an opinion.
Note: You will need 3D Shapes to place around your room for this assessment!
This assessment, requires students to name each 3D Shape, and determine how many faces, edges, and vertices each shape has!
This PARCC like assessment assesses students ability to convert measurements within the standard and metric system. It is aligned to Common Core Standards and also includes a section differentiated based on MAPS.
This assesses students ability to calculate and convert between measurements (time, liquid measurements, weight, and distances) as well as calculate rate problems!
This quiz assesses student understanding of place value in whole numbers and decimals as well as their ability to round decimals and whole numbers and compute with decimals.
