About the store
I have a strong love for reading and highly value critical thinking. My lessons focus on analyzing text, drawing inferences, and understanding character development through the full spectrum of ELA standards without pulling the reader out of the story, but rather allowing them to grow deeper connections to what they read.
My background is in high school education, as well as teaching both 7th and 8th grade ELA. Currently, I partner with various multi-grade homeschool co-ops making novel based curriculum.

Driverless Vehicle Informational Text Practice: Interview Annotation
Students will critically analyze the podcast transcript: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: How to Plan for a Driverless Future (4 pages). Students may listen to full (unedited) podcast to follow along as well. Students will be guided through some of the pros and cons of autonomous vehicles as they highlight each side and answer 15 questions that encourage further interaction with the text through deeper analysis. Answer key includes both responses to the questions as well as a highlighted article
