Have you ever wanted to share the love of music with students, only for them to say they don't play an instrument? There are plenty of careers for those who are not so musically inclined, and I wanted to show my classes that they can still love and be involved in music when they are older! I use a project for them afterward to create a wanted poster for their job requirements and a resume about themselves (not included) but feel free to use the slides as you see fit. Teaching since 2016 in public schools
Teaching style
I love to use technology and have students move in the classroom. We try out new apps, and sounds, and experiment with music making. I feel that students need to constantly be creating so I believe that project-based learning best shows their strengths instead of formal tests.
