Have you ever wanted your students to learn about musical forms the FUN way? Look no further! Slides 2-4 discuss verse, chorus, and bridge. I love to start out my rhythm unit with some fun activities! Using Google slides, there are activities to present, work on as a class, have students use with their 1:1 tech, and also to work in groups in centers. First, we delve into the origins of rhythm and what beat and rhythm mean. We try to keep the beat as it gets faster so students can see it does change speeds! Teaching style

I love to use technology and have students move in the classroom. We try out new apps, and sounds, and experiment with music making. I feel that students need to constantly be creating so I believe that project-based learning best shows their strengths instead of formal tests.
