When I was hired as a Geometry teacher I dreaded teaching proofs. I remembered struggling with them when I was in high school. They made me cringe and it seemed as though there was no possible way to teach proofs without receiving that same reaction from my students.
With UNO proof, those feelings changed. I have never seen such excitement during a lesson on proofs. I have used this lesson in multiple schools and the reaction is always the same. They LOVE it! Their understanding of proo

I use this seat request form at the beginning of the year. It gives the students the opportunity to let me know where they would like to sit and with whom. Throughout the year as I make seating charts, I refer back to these requests and am able to remember who needs to sit near the front. I am also able to assure that they are often placed nearby a friend who can make them feel more comfortable in class.
It makes the difficult task of creating seating charts a little bit easier.
