This is an interactive horse race review game played on a SMARTBoard. Assign students in pairs to one of the five horses. Students take turns answering the questions relating to unit 2 in Math Trailblazers. There are 36 questions to answer on 19 slides. The math questions cover expanded form vs. standard form vs. word form, estimating to specific place values, multiplication with numbers involving zeros, and exponents. This allows for students to show to the class how they arranged their manipulatives and share it on the SMARTBoard with others. I use the questions in Trailblazers while keeping this open on the SMARTBoard as we go over the problems as a class.

Use this movement break as a formative assessment! Students will see a question displayed. Their answer will align with one of two exercises. The correct answer is on the next slide. The timer is set for 20 seconds, but you could certainly set the movement to be longer to meet your students' needs! Includes 9 questions about attributes of cubes, pyramids, cylinders, and spheres. Took my class approximately 5-10 minutes to complete this activity.
