Use this any time you read a book with your class and then watch the movie afterwards! A very easy way to compare and contrast, and let the kids enjoy a movie! Strategies for Multiplication
This is a homework sheet I created for students to use after I teach the four strategies of multiplication. Since Common Core is all about using different strategies, this homework asks that students use ALL four ways to complete the multiplication problem. These problems are from 2x2 to 2x4 digit multiplication (ie as small as 25 x 34 up to 24 x 2356). I am a teacher who will give kids the road map, but they have to do the learning. I am big on group projects, individual projects, peer teaching, active learning, and 21st century learning is one of my specialties.

I love to create. I've taught for a long time, and I am still revamping things to make them more fun, and more interesting to the kids. I am very excited to be apart of this website, as we all know that teachers are HIGHLY underpaid for their time in the industry...
