Guesstimation: games for estimating multiplication products for Gr. 4, 5, 6
Guesstimation is a collection of flash card activities that uses multiplication, mental math and estimating skills to complete different challenges. Students take their knowledge of basic multiplication facts and stretch it further – building fluency estimating larger numbers, comparing/ordering estimates, devising word problems and more. I’ve set up these activities as centers that students rotate through; as choice work for those early finishers; as morning math activities or even as a fun

Teaching style
Learning should be fun. I try to make everything interesting, interactive and meaningful for my students. I incorporate the arts into as many lessons as I can, trying to offer students a variety of ways to take in new ideas and to demonstrate their understanding.

Bachelor in Business Communication in 1994 and Masters in Creative Arts in Learning / Elementary Education in 2004
