A great back to school resource for the book "I'm Trying to Love Math". Students can fill in their ideas on the graphic organizer and then write a paragraph on the back.

This is a great game to play with your kids to introduce health topics or sense of taste. By showing the slides the students will guess what the food is by putting the clues together. Mine loved it and its a great "hook" activity.

Here is a seasonal Math and Art activity to tie in spatial sense. Students can draw a village and provide coordinates for the different drawings (house, community centre, tree, etc. whatever they draw). Then they can provide directions from place to place (e.g. go north 2 squares, east 4 squares). This give the artistic students an opportunity to shine in math. Includes checklists/success criteria for assessment.
