This is a vowel chart for educational uses. It can be useful for many grades as it is intended for use during phonics, literacy stations, and writing. When students are writing during independent writing time I give them each one of the mini vowel charts (included) and I model how to use them and then they are usable all year long and for years to come (when laminated). Included are 2 checklists to use with the teachers college reading and writing project. They can be used for many of the kindergarten units as they are referred to across the curriculum. This is specific to kindergarten but can be used in first grade too. Both checklists are to support student independence in the classroom. Print, laminate, and place in writing folder or caddy.
