I have been working with students since 2010. I have worked with students from 3 through 7 years old. I have learned that students learn through movement and experiencing the world and I try my best to incorporate that when I teach.
This is a simple graphic organizer for prewriting. It is recommended for early childhood students. There is plenty of space for students to use pictures as this is developmentally appropriate for pre-k and kinder students. It can also be used as a differentiation tool when you give different organizers based on abilities.
This is a comprehensive product that encompasses all standards for the kindergarten common core. This product can be used for various math programs, i.e., Engage NY, Envision, and GoMath. These nonfiction reading passages are good for grades kindergarten through grade 3. They contain animal facts about 5 different animals: Elephant, Flamingo, Turkey, Clownfish, and Gorilla. These sheets can be used in different ways, you can assign the reading and a reader's response. You can create questions associated with the passages to assess student abilities. I especially use items like this as homework during our nonfiction unit.
This is a vowel chart for educational uses. It can be useful for many grades as it is intended for use during phonics, literacy stations, and writing. When students are writing during independent writing time I give them each one of the mini vowel charts (included) and I model how to use them and then they are usable all year long and for years to come (when laminated). This resource includes mini black and white versions and color version charts and 8 by 10 size as well. Please leave feedback

Teaching style
Experiential learning; hands on activities; huge on dramatic play; let them get dirty!!! Let them try it; better that they try and make a mistake than for someone else to do it for them. It is true that we learn from our mistakes.
