About the store
I began my career teaching 4 year old children at the local pre-kindergarten. While I enjoyed my experience there, it was time for a change. I never imagined that I would end up teaching sixth graders but I have been doing just that for the past 13 years. I teach science and literacy to sixth grade students and I personally love it when I can combine the two subjects!

About the store

Experience

I began my career teaching 4 year old children at the local pre-kindergarten. While I enjoyed my experience there, it was time for a change. I teach science and literacy to sixth grade students and I personally love it when I can combine the two subjects!

Teaching style

Students in sixth grade need to be able to communicate and move around the classroom. I like to provide opportunities for my students to work in stations, allowing them to move and to work in groups, allowing them to communicate. I truly believe that the person who talks the most, learns the most!
