**I have just recently moved to PA to teach 2nd grade. I am ready and excited for this new adventure and cannot wait to see what it brings!
This is a .zip file.
There are 31 different backgrounds and 2 versions of the follow:
5 frame
10 frame
double 10 frame
That means there are 62 options for each frame.
This are blank ten frames to be printed, laminated, and used as student boards. These can be used in number talks, whole group lessons, small group lessons, partner work, and games. You could even consider sending one home to use!
This is a whole class game.
You will pick out clues form this set to read aloud, one at a time. As you read them you students will listen to the clues. When the clues no longer match their number they will sit down.
There are a lot of clues included that will cover numbers 1-1,000. You must be intentional with the clues you pick out (having a number/answer in mind).
Included is a 2 week long Time unit. It includes lessons and games. It is a hands-on approach to learning. A part of the unit is performing on tasks. A lot of the work is through communicating ones thinking and reasoning.
Topics reviewed:
-Time to the hour and half hour
-Am vs. PM
-Length of time (seconds-minutes-hours-days)
Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions or to give productive feedback!
This is played like normal dominoes only this time the numbers are displayed through various representations to build a strong sense of numbers 1-10. There is one tile of fractions included to then be able to connect to my fraction domino set if desired. Money domino pieces were added at the end, together, to add to the set when ready. There is also a blank page at the end for you or your students/kids to add your own (or make your own game)!
B&W for easy printing on any paper.
Representations
There are two card decks in this Zip file.
1. numbers 1-120 in color
2. numbers 1-120 in black and white
These cards can be used for numerous math games as well as for keeping track of the days of school or labeling. The options are truly endless.
Games that use this deck will be added to the shop upon finalization.
An entire units worth of plans to teach money. While this was created with my 1st grade class in mind it could easily be adjusted for K or 2. Possibility even 3rd grade.
This unit was created with guidance from a Math Solutions specialists and is extremely hands on. In this unit your class will learn about money and becoming money counting experts through experiencing the coins and having fun with the games - half of the time they won't even know they are learning!

purple scoops = base 10 blocks
Here is a poster displaying 0-9 and what each number represents by the dots on each birds wing, appropriately. This helps ties in subitizing and building number sense. Enjoy the fun woodland, enchanted theme!

This game is played like normal dominoes where you match like numbers, creating a unique path. Instead of dots these printed cards represent fractions (halves, thirds, fourths, and wholes) in various different ways to include fractions of a whole and fractions of a part.
Again, this builds up number sense which will benefit any learning throughout his/her career. It is encourage to print more than one deck to make a complete set or to add your own!
This is a game that can be played many ways. This file contains 200 slides worth of multiple representations for numbers 1-20. This is a great game to build number sense skills such as subitizing and mental math along with many other skills that will support their career in mathematics.
This can be a game of memory or working with a buddy to match cards into groups.
You can differentiate but only using a certain range of numbers or and/or a certain range of categories (the different means in

Do you remember playing Smack as a child? The quick fun paced game of who has the quickest recall/identification skills to get the card first and win! I turned this into a fraction edition. Fractions are an important unit under number sense and I find it hard to get your hands on good fraction games that students can play independently. I have seen similar games online but create one to focus mostly on first grade standards of knowing halves, thirds, fourths, and wholes. I pushed my students wit
This is a .zip file.
This game is played exactly like go fish only it's with fractions. This game shows fractions of a set. The fractions that are included are the following: halves, thirds, and fourths.
Here are two versions of a mini number talk between two students. One student fills in as much of the ten frame (or double ten frame) as they decide and their partner has to tell them what number is displayed and how they know this. This helps aid in their ability to communicate HOW they know something and to push them further by communicating two ways they can prove their answer. Directions are included. Look at thumbnail sample for how to assemble.
Print on normal size yardstick, laminate, and cut in half for student use.
Each number line set has 6 watercolor background options.
