This activity gives students a chance to plot and demonstrate their understanding about Cartesian Planes. It follows the Ontario Curriculum expectations for math. You will need to provide students with quadrants to plot their work.

This is a great tool to use as a tally chart for your students who are learning about probability. The students in my class had plastic coloured caterpillars in front of them for this activity. They were to look at the selection of caterpillars and had to check off if it was "likely" or "unlikely" or "impossible" to be picked. You can edit this document to suit your needs! Students are to find missing numbers, solve word problems, and subtract large numbers.

This evaluation tests students on their ability to multiply 3-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers. Part A: This sections requires students to estimate/calculate multiplication questions. Part B: This sections requires students to be identify equivalent addition problems that can be combined to equal the multiplication sentence given. Part C: These are word problems. Students are to read each problem carefully, show their work, and provide a sentence answer.

This test/evaluation allows students to demonstrate their understanding of the 2, 3, 4,5, and 10 times tables. This test challenges their multiplication and division knowledge with standard math questions in addition to some word problems.
