This activity gives students a chance to plot and demonstrate their understanding about Cartesian Planes. It follows the Ontario Curriculum expectations for math. You will need to provide students with quadrants to plot their work.

This test focuses on the Numeration Unit. Students will be required to model numbers up to thousands using base tens blocks, multiply by 10, 100,1000, and order numbers. Students will also be required to round to the nearest hundred. Students will also be asked to estimate dollar amount and calculate money in addition to knowing the different between standard and expanded form. I have scored this test out of 18 with each question being worth 1 point

Students have covered and have an understanding of capacity (liters and mililiters). This is a hand on lesson where students will be assigned to different stations around their classroom. Each station will have different jars of items to measure (water, sand, salt, dirt, etc.). Each jar will be labeled A,B,C,D, etc. Each station will have a measuring beaker (L,mL). Students are to ESTIMATE how many L or mL there is in each jar. Then they must MEASURE each jarred item with the beaker. Students

This is a great tool to use as a tally chart for your students who are learning about probability. The students in my class had plastic coloured caterpillars in front of them for this activity. They were to look at the selection of caterpillars and had to check off if it was "likely" or "unlikely" or "impossible" to be picked. You can edit this document to suit your needs! Students are to find missing numbers, solve word problems, and subtract large numbers.

This evaluation tests students on their ability to multiply 3-digit numbers by 1-digit numbers. Part A: This sections requires students to estimate/calculate multiplication questions. Part B: This sections requires students to be identify equivalent addition problems that can be combined to equal the multiplication sentence given. Part C: These are word problems. Students are to read each problem carefully, show their work, and provide a sentence answer.

This test/evaluation allows students to demonstrate their understanding of the 2, 3, 4,5, and 10 times tables. This test challenges their multiplication and division knowledge with standard math questions in addition to some word problems.

This is a culminating assessment for the end of the grade 3 Measurement Unit. Students must work with adding, subtracting, elapsed time, temperature, capacity, mass, and word problems.

This assessment/evaluation can be used to determine where your child or student is in their understanding of multiplication and division. This documents has 3 parts. Students have had practice estimating objects of different sizes and quantities along with counting Canadian coins. This quiz will require jars of different items and they will be presented to the students. They are to estimate and then record the actual amount. Students will also need to count Canadian coins and write the correct number in cents

This test covers adding and subtracting of 3 digit numbers. It also covers adding and subtracting with money (decimals and dollar signs) along with answering word problems focused on this unit.
