I have taught for 13 years at a variety of schools from urban to suburban to rural, from private to public. I have taught language arts, etymology, writing, reading, and English. I use media and common interests to hep make content relatable and applicable. I use Kagan strategies as well as active learning strategies. I use a lot of visual examples and group work to understand concepts.

I am a wife, mother, author, teacher, and mentor. I have also done youth ministry, both as a pastor and a volunteer. I have coached multiple sports as well.
