The Titanic Mini-Research Project is an assessment of a culmination of skillsets. Shays Rebellion Argumentative Writing Assignment is a formative assessment for Social Studies teachers both on the concept of argumentative writing and of Shays Rebellion. The assignment asked students to use many resources to complete a paragraph that includes text based evidence to prove their claim. The assignment also asks student to make a connection to the media frenzy during Shays Rebellion and a modern day event.
