Composition of Functions - Differentiated Domino Activity
This is an activity designed as practice for Composition of Functions in Algebra 2. There are three levels of difficulty so that students can practice at a level that suits their current abilities or they can complete multiple levels of difficulty for extra practice and enrichment. Each domino has an expression on the right side (ex. "f(g(3))") and a value (ex. "7") on the left side. I have a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics as well as a Masters Degree in Education. I am in my ninth year of teaching high school mathematics.
Teaching style
I try to prepare lessons that engage students in the learning process where they feel that what they are learning is both worthwhile and challenging. As a high school teacher I aim to create hands on lessons that allow students to think about their thinking and consider the implications of their statements.
