These are fun centers that have a very hands-on approach for students being able to identify different types of soil and rocks. They are able to talk about the different characteristics and describe them. The lesson also includes a way to add the naturalistic learning style (which is recommended!). This covers three standards in one day, and you can always choose to do one center at a time.

I am still a developing student in Elementary Education, planning to graduate Spring 2015. I have a passion for teaching, and my lesson plans try to integrate fun, interactive lessons while still trying to be realistic in regards to time, classroom management and behavior.
