I used this as an assessment after we studied multiplying and dividing decimals by 10, 100, or 1,000. I wanted a sheet that incorporated both, so that the students had to think about moving the decimal to the left or the right. (I didn't like that the workbook pages with the series were either all multiplying or all dividing... they just did the entire sheet the same way.)
This product includes an Answer Key.

I love seeing students work toward a skill at their own level and pace. Differentiation is key to reaching all learners and I absolutely love how this approach is working in my classroom this year. I quickly get to assess, reteach, challenge, document, and direct learning paths for each student in my room. HOW???
We discuss the topic whole group and I show a couple of examples. Then we do a few practice problems whole group. This gives me a good idea of prior knowledge and how quickly they are
This is a fun activity to use in the Fall with candy corn candies! The students can use the candies to show if the numbers are greater than or less than. I had my students use 5 pieces of candy, then they got to eat them. They used their pencil to write the symbols, and turned the assignment in for a grade. The kids had a lot of fun with this activity!

Teaching style
I love making learning fun. I incorporate games and active learning styles as much as I can. If students have fun while learning, they will retain and apply what they learn as opposed to simply giving answers.
