This puppet show project is designed for a Child Development class in a FACS program. Students work in groups to write an original script, create puppets, digitally record the dialogue with sound effects, and perform the show. Students perform once for a mid-term grade and then later in the on-campus preschool for children ages 3-5-years-old.

Assign this document to students in Google Classroom to use while viewing the Yeast Breads Slides. This assignment may be instructor led or self-guided depending on time and preference.
These slides may be used before an instructor demo to prepare students for culinary lab work. Students may take their own notes in a notebook or the instructor may provide a digital lab notebook or guided notes. Students may also use the slides to review for a summative written test.
The Baby Timeline Project is a great way for students to learn about developmental milestones in a Child Development class. Students may choose to present information on a poster or by using Google Slides, Prezi or PowerPoint. They use Chromebooks in class to research common milestones for the average baby and then find information at home for their personal milestones.
