About the store
I taught 4th grade at a high-poverty school in Nashville for two years. I taught a combined 1st/2nd grade class before moving to first grade for the next few years. I looped up to second grade for the 2015-2016 school year! Now, I get to revisit all these grades again as an English Language Learner coteacher!

Moon Observation Journal
This is a way of giving some structure for your students to observe the moon phases and document what they see. Students are given a circle as well as space for the date of the entry and space for the name of the phase. If you copy the journal double-sided, you can get them to observe an entire lunar cycle.

Africa Fact Fluency
I don't know about you, but I am always looking to better integrate our social studies and science standards into the rest of our curriculum. With these cards, you get 18 facts about Africa -- the odd numbers target geography and the even numbers address cultural diversity. With the set comes a recording sheet for students to track the number of times they read the card as well as record answers to questions based off the information they read. Use as a center or fast finisher easily!
