I printed these on card stock paper and cut them out. My students were assigned to create 3 trading cards of the god or goddess of their choice. On the left side of the card, they illustrated a picture along with the Greek name of their god or goddess. On the right side, the Roman name is required as well as symbols and what the gods & goddesses reign over (such as sea, love, etc.). There is also a line for fun facts (bonus information).
This activity was done during our Greek mythology unit.
This sheet serves as a quick mini lesson (overview) for figurative language. Students are to match examples with the accurate figurative language element using color coding as directed by the key.
