I printed these on card stock paper and cut them out. My students were assigned to create 3 trading cards of the god or goddess of their choice. On the left side of the card, they illustrated a picture along with the Greek name of their god or goddess. On the right side, the Roman name is required as well as symbols and what the gods & goddesses reign over (such as sea, love, etc.). There is also a line for fun facts (bonus information).
This activity was done during our Greek mythology unit.
Deportes - Vocabulary List Featuring Jugar (Present & Preterite) 2 to a page I printed these out on card stock paper and cut them (there are 2 to a page) and gave them to my students as an anchor vocabulary sheet for several sports related activities.
Students create their own graphic novel page that is all about who the are as a person. They will use a template that mirrors the layout of many GC novels. Example guidelines are included, however, you can adapt this to any specific directions you want followed.
This graphic organizer can be used with novel chapters, stories, and informational text.
Suggested Use:
Students draw and illustrate 8 sequential scenes/sections from a passage/text. One of the scenes is to be elaborated upon in sentence form. Finally, students are to choose one example of cause & effect from their reading. They can demonstrate their knowledge through pictures or in written response in the provided spaces.
This is intended to go with any unit dealing with sports and recreational words. Students are assigned (or choose) a sport or pastime. They create a jersey with that theme. This is accompanied by writing a descriptive paragraph in Spanish and English based on their skill level. Expectations can be set by the teacher. My students LOVED this activity. A t-shirt (jersey) template is included.
