This is a worksheet that reviews equations of circles.
It prompts students to do many tasks inculding:
Writing the equation from..
a graph
a center and a radius
a center and a point
two points on a diameter
graph
change from general to standard form

This is a discovery worksheet for students to build their knowledge of the values of sine and cosine to discover the properties of the tanx and cotx graph. This will help them understand why the vertical asymptotes occur and why and how cotx and tanx differ.
They do the sine value / cosine value to determine the tangent value. They can either do the decimal approximation or practice dividing the fractions.
Have students take an exponential function and discuss the inputs and outputs. Then define a function that switches the input and output, giving it a formal name of a logarithm.
These notes can be used to go through, explain logarithms, and have the students fill out with me.
The notes focus greatly on the relationship between exponential functions and logarithmic functions.
This is a two page lesson that has students 1) Label the simplified radicals that they should memorize. 2) Practice simplifying radicals 3) Teach adding subtracting radicals 4) Practice Answer Key included
In this activity you will hang 16 pages around the room (Don't put them in order!) that have a question on the bottom and solutions on the top. The students will spread out to different problems and complete the problem on the bottom. They will then look around the room for the answer to their problem and the next problem they do is the one underneath. As they go around solving they take note of the letters assigned to each problem because it will spell out the answer to the riddle given on the
In this activity you will hang 13 pages around the room (Don't put them in order!) that have a question on the bottom and solutions on the top. The students will spread out to different problems and complete the problem on the bottom. They will then look around the room for the answer to their problem and the next problem they do is the one underneath. This class will run itself! The students can check their own work and they know they did it right if they complete the circuit. The questions ar

Sixteen different transformed graphs that students must match the equation to and also answer additional questions. The students are provided with an organizer that has all the graphs and you will give them the cards to sort on their paper. I would suggest to not print double sided so they can work on
These are flash cards that you can print double sided and have the students cut out. They include the general rule for the transformation posed on the front along with an example with a linear equation and absolute value equation.
