Sound Wall

Research has confirmed how important it is for students to learn phonics skills. At the top of the list is the connection between a phoneme and grapheme. This classroom resource is worth the wall space as it can be used to teach and also reference the various spelling patterns of the sounds we use! There are enough options here that this resource can seamlessly pair with any program or sequence needs. Options span from basic kindergarten phonics skills to advanced skills found in third grad

Stop wasting valuable wall space on the hundreds of sight words we teach our students! Word walls are overwhelming, and under-utilized by your struggling readers. The “Sound City Bandits” will display sight words that are irregular, aka not decodable, in a fun and engaging way. This will save space, and help students shift memory workload to the smaller amount of words that are irregular. As you teach a word that is irregular add a word window to the bandit city.
