Geometric Sequences
This Smart Board Mini lesson shows students how to find the common ratio, extend a pattern, write the rule for a geometric sequence, and find the nth term of a geometric sequence. The lesson incorporates guided practice problems where students can come to the Smart Board to show their work and explain their rationale.

My basic teaching style is a Do Now, Homework Review, an interactive mini lesson, and then a fun activity to solidify the concepts in the students' minds.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting along with a minor in Mathematics, a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics Education with a Specialty in Grades 5-9, and a Master of Science Degree in Educational Leadership.
