This is my 17th year to be teaching Math. I first taught in a Junior high setting where I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. For the last 15 years I have been teaching Geometry and Algebra 1. I have my Texas Certification in 8-12 math.
This is a simple assignment that has students write equations that are parallel and perpendicular to equations that I give to them. Then they are to graph both of the equations on the graph that is beside them. 4 parallel lines and 4 perpendicular lines. This is about a 20-25 minute assignment.
Simple worksheet that has students identifying what type of Angle Pair. Vertical, Linear Pair, Alternate Interior, Alternate Exterior, Same Side Interior, Same Side Exterior, Corresponding, Adjacent Only, Complementary.
Many students have a difficult time identifying the bases when dealing with 3-D shapes. This lesson is designed to help them do that.
An activity is included as a warmup exercise which can help as the lesson is taught.
This is a quiz with isometric transformations.
