This is my 17th year to be teaching Math. I first taught in a Junior high setting where I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. For the last 15 years I have been teaching Geometry and Algebra 1. I have my Texas Certification in 8-12 math.
This is a simple assignment that has students write equations that are parallel and perpendicular to equations that I give to them. Then they are to graph both of the equations on the graph that is beside them. 4 parallel lines and 4 perpendicular lines. This is about a 20-25 minute assignment.
This is a simple practice sheet to allow students to find a quadratic equation from a set of data points. Then it asks them to find output values from a set of given input values. I have included the pdf version of this along with the publisher version. I have also included a key. Thank You!
Many students have a difficult time identifying the bases when dealing with 3-D shapes. This lesson is designed to help them do that.
An activity is included as a warmup exercise which can help as the lesson is taught.
