I use this in my Special Education resource classes as well as in the regular education classroom. Since we have to review learning targets each day, I have the students write them down. Then, as we work toward those targets, the students can write down exactly what we did to get to those targets. This helps keep them accountable, lets parents know what we've been doing in class to prepare students, and provides documentation of what I do to reach those targets. Cut these up and attach to students' agendas or just use them as a reference to write to let parents know why a student got in trouble in class that day. I put pictures in the document because everyone understands pictures!
