This is a unit plan for the living and working In Ontario grade 3 social studies. It should match the Ontario Ministry Guidelines. In order to use this unit plan, you will need access to the Nelson Literacy student guide (Living and Working in Ontario). Many lessons include critical challenges.

This media summative is for overall expectation # 1 of the Ontario Grade 1 Curriculum. It includes an activity on purpose and audience, a critical challenge where students need to determine the best television show for moms using criteria, and t-chart to sort elements of media. There is a rubric attached that follows the achievement chart.

This is a culminating task for the Grade One Energy unit in the Ontario Curriculum. It has two sets of activities, and includes a rubric which incorporates triangulated assessment and the achievement chart. The "Thinking" portion of this assignment involves a challenge where students have to decide whether or not the picture is wasteful or efficient with energy.

This is a unit plan, formative assessment and summative assessment for ordering decimals and numbers to 100,000 (Grade 5). The summative consists of an achievement chart, observation and product.
