This 6 lesson mini unit encompasses expectations from the Sociology strand of HSP3U as well as expectations from the Research and Inquiry Skills. This unit includes a variety of assessment for/as learning tasks, as well as an assessment of learning task. There are many essential questions for students to consider, and the variety of tasks for various multiple intelligences will allow all types of learners to access the curriculum.

This is a unit plan for the living and working In Ontario grade 3 social studies. It should match the Ontario Ministry Guidelines. In order to use this unit plan, you will need access to the Nelson Literacy student guide (Living and Working in Ontario). Many lessons include critical challenges.

This media summative is for overall expectation # 1 of the Ontario Grade 1 Curriculum. This is a culminating task for the Grade One Energy unit in the Ontario Curriculum. It has two sets of activities, and includes a rubric which incorporates triangulated assessment and the achievement chart. The "Thinking" portion of this assignment involves a challenge where students have to decide whether or not the picture is wasteful or efficient with energy.
