This is a Pixie project that high tech kids can replicate. Other than that, it can be used as multiple worksheets that ask several things about the arcade game built by your kids for STEM, and the Caine's Arcade initiative. St. Valentine's Day K-5 activity sheet that addresses shapes, colors, and counting in English and Spanish. Another sheet asks the students to make something out of the heart creatively using patterns.

Fun and easy way to incorporate Spanish or to learn new words using the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) theme. Phonetic pronunciation is included for each word, the key, a space to create, and another to identify body parts using the one and only muerta girl, Skelita Calavera.

Project-based learning activity where students create a super store in either English or Spanish (both are included). There are essential questions about marketing and economics, as well as language. It can integrate mathematics, writing, and art. It is a great way to infuse technology with an L1/L2 and ELA class.

Dia de Los Muertos activities for Spanish practice, or just for fun. Kids K-5 can choose from a number of activities, from making words out of the title "Dia de los Muertos" to creating their own "calavera". They can also make sentences and an easy word bank in Spanish is available so that even teachers who do not speak Spanish can still give the activity.

In this pack students K-6 will build an altar and dedicate it to an ancestor or pet no longer among us. They will also get to decorate an actual sugar skull (pic is my own sugar skulls that I made) To be done as a PIXIE, Wixie, or as a worksheet. Rubric for the altar included. I teach K-5 Spanish and my kids have responded positively (and their parents) to these lessons.

These are 6 posters and 4 activities about foods. I did NOT divide them the usual way, in order to make them vegan-friendly. Rather than meats, it reads "Meats and Alternative Protein Sources" it also educates kids on swapping foods that have the same nutritional value. The activities include making a plate with a balanced combination of the nutrients discussed. The other activity is a word work where students alphabetize the foods in each group.
