Learning Goals for Reading and Math for I can statements or essential question
Print and laminate (or put in a sheet protector). Fill in the blanks with a dry erase marker and display to refer back to for each lesson essential question or I can statement. Today I am working on verb tenses. So that I can tell if something is happening today, tomorrow or yesterday. I'll know I've got it when I can use past, present and future tenses in words and sentences. Enjoy!!

Teaching style
Student centered. Students need to be engaged in their learning. They also need to take responsibility for their learning. If they feel as if you are wasting their time, then you are wasting their time. If you are not open to their needs, then you will not get anywhere with 90% of your students.
