Reading Log Bookmark for Nightly Recording Reading (A.R.)

Hi! I created these Reading Log Bookmarks for Nightly Recording Reading for A,R., etc. The students use them as bookmarks for whatever book(s) they are reading that week at home (I require thirty min. per night) so that they can record data such as start page, end page, and total time read. I then have students bring their bookmarks into class on Friday (or each day if you like) and have them transfer the information over to their actual reading log folders. I hope that you enjoy these! Critics Corner (Reading/Book Reviews)

Hi there! Thanks for checking out this product! I created these materials to be used as a “Critics Corner” for students to leave book reviews for the books that they read throughout the school year. The student will simply get a “Book Review” form, fill it out for the book that they just finished reading, rate it and hang it up on the wall either under the “Books I Recommend” or the “Books I Do Not Recommend” poster. I have also included a “Star Rating Chart” for you to hang up in your Critic

Camping Theme Voice Level Posters

Hi, Thanks for considering this product. I made these cute posters to be used as a voice level management board for a Camping themed classroom. Attach them all vertically using binder rings. Use clothespins and attach the “We Are Using Our…” paper and move up or down to keep track of what voice level the students should be on for the assignment at hand. Great visual so that you don’t have to keep repeating yourself (though we never do that, do we? ;-) LOL! Perfect for a camping or outdoor t

Homeless to Harvard- Future Story Lesson/ Poverty/Success

I created this lesson plan based on an article that I originally read in Woman’s World magazine. However, I have provided links to several interviews of this young lady and a couple of videos as well. I have also included a PDF of an article (see copyright at bottom of article). As a teacher in a school district that is Title 1, most of my students are considered “At Risk” and so I created a lesson based of the framework of Ruby Payne’s poverty studies that was meant to inspire them to shoot fo

Classroom Passes (Coupons)

I created these coupons to be used in my classroom this year for behavior management and organization. I plan to use these as a Friday reward for those who have completed all of their work, homework, had good behavior, etc in conjunction with a punch card. I will allow for so many punches throughout the week and then on Friday, the students that have received the adequate amount of punches will be allowed to choose a class pass to be used the following Friday while in my classroom. Hi Friends, This planner is designed for you to personalize it as much as you want. I have given you several choices for title pages and left a blank calendar template, etc so that you can make it your own! For instance, I know that not everyone will want “testing information” in their planner, but I like to have my information all in one place as I sit down to write my lesson plans for the week. If you don’t want it, I’ve made it easy to just leave out (by not printing that page). The back co

Photo Booth Glasses (fun for first day/week of school pics)

Hi, Thanks for purchasing this product. I made these cute glasses/sunglasses to use for the first day of school in my classroom. I thought it would be great fun if we could have a little photo booth set up with fun props for the students to choose from and then I snap a picture to go into a class book and/or send home as a family keepsake. What I did was print these onto cardstock and cut them out. I left some as sunglasses and some I cut out the white centers to make as glasses (I think the

Oops! A.R. Test Retake Passes

Hi friends, After hearing an enthusiastic presenter at my school’s A.R. training (she worked for A.R.) I decided to make these passes. She suggested making passes for those students who know that they did not score well on an A.R. test because they rushed, etc. She suggested giving each student 2 per six week period. They turn it in so that they can have a retake of the test that they messed up on before the report gets sent home to Mom and Dad, and when they run out, they have to wait until t

I created these posters and passes to use in my classroom this year. I am personally just going to use the full page ones, print them on cardstock, and hang them vertically using binder rings and then add my clothespin passes (as seen on Pinterest) to them for passes for my students. I love the idea of using clothespins so that the students can just attach it to their clothing (less germs!) However, I went ahead and made smaller ones for you too, just in case you want to use them as a traditiona

I love the idea of having a little something for the students and parents to take home with them during Open House/Meet the Teacher nights. I made this for myself and wanted to share it with you all in an effort to save you a little time. :-) This is the perfect size for Gourmet brand microwave popcorn (Wal-mart). It was the cheapest and had the largest amount, so that is what I purchased for my classroom. It is editable so that you can switch it around and add your name/subect. Enjoy! Am
