These flashcards have the MYP command terms with their definitions. I usually use them as a classroom resource, print them out in the A5 format and post them on a wall.

This is a Criteria B & C summative assessment for Grade 7 (MYP2). I use it after finishing the Numbers skills unit, at the beginning of the Algebra Unit. The students were allowed to work on the task for two consecutive classes, for a total period of 180 minutes. For this research-based project, I allowed the students to work in groups of 3-4, for about 3 weeks, including feedback sessions and presentations. I used it as a Service Learning MYP IB project and I also assessed it as a formative Criterion C (Communicating) task. This is a classroom activity, a guided graphic organizer towards proving Pythagoras' Theorem, one of the first activities students complete as part of the deductive geometry topic. Suitable for grades 8 and 9 (MYP3 or MYP4).

I made this poster as a classroom resource and I refer to it whenever students are confused about the MYP (Middle Years Programme) criteria of assessment, types of assessment and their importance.

I made this resource for MYP2, Grade 7 students, but it could also be used for Grade 6 or 8, depending on the curriculum used. This is meant mostly for ESL students and is meant to help them make use of the vocabulary regarding conversions, so they can eventually express themselves in words when explaining the conversions.

This poster is meant to inform and remind the students of the materials needed each mathematics class. It is placed outside the classroom, so that students can double-check they have brought all the necessary items before entering the classroom.
