Students will learn about tessellations in this fun, interactive Web-Quest! Throughout the Web-Quest, students will define the following terms: tessellation (natural and man-made), transformation (translation, rotation, reflection), symmetry, polygon and many more! Students will move to different stations and work on plotting points/graphing. After plotting the given points, students will work on their understanding of rotations and reflections by using the rules of rotations (i.e. 90 degrees, 180 degrees, clockwise/counterclockwise).
