First the students have to translate 20 Spanish verbs to English. Give each student (or pair of students) two dice - one that is 6-sided and one that is 20-sided (I bought the 20-sided dice at a gaming store - they are made for Dungeons and Dragons, I believe). The student rolls the 6-sided dice for the subject pronoun and the 20-sided dice for the verb. The student must then conjugate the verb with that subject. Cut each page in half. Put students in pairs giving each person in the pair half of the sheet. When students get to the bottom of the sheet, they switch papers and do the drill again. Experience

I have been teaching German and Spanish in Central Wisconsin since 1999. I have taught the following courses: German I German II German III/IV Spanish I Spanish II Spanish III/IV Spanish Pre-IB I have served as a tech mentor and I am currently an internal PBIS coach.

Teaching style

I teach foreign language - I like to do a variety of activities that give students the opportunity to listen, speak, read and write. Some of my favorite activities are pair drills, games, and computer lab activities. I like to use technology in my instruction. This year my freshman students will have Chromebooks - I'm excited to use them in my teaching.

My own education history

My father was in the military so we moved around until I was a junior in high school. I graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1994 and earned my bachelor's degree at UW-Platteville in 1999. In 2006 I earned a master's degree in education along with a reading teacher license from UW-Stevens Point.
