This worksheet pairs with the Disney version of Beauty and the Beast. It is a movie question worksheet to help students see how bullying is every where and how they can help stop it. It is a great way to start or end a bullying discussion.

This worksheet is to be paired with the movie Wall-E. Created in a cute, computer dot like font, the scenes are broken up on the worksheet just like the DVD, they are mostly titles of the underscore. Students write what kind of emotions they think the movies writers were trying to portray in each scene of Wall-E using hints from the underscore (much of it is from "Hello, Dolly!").

Travel the musical world with this music passport (US). This mock United States passport allows students to keep a record of all the musical journeys they will take in your class! One marking period we go to one country/region every class in my 6th grade music classes. I pair this with "The World's Music Audio Program" by Holt McDougal, but you can use it with anything you do in class.

This is a great blank manuscript paper for beginners to write simple melodies. Four lines for three measures each. Treble clef already on the first line so students can copy on the rest of the lines. Students can add their own time signatures, tempo, dynamics and even their own lyrics.

I have a free bulletin board idea that can be used with these. This is 9 pages long. Each page is a different element of music and can be added to your word wall as you teach them. They do not have definitions with the idea that they can stay up and when students see them they are reminded of the information you want them to remember. This booklet helps students organize their findings as they explore music by experimenting with instruments, watching videos of both professional performances, and how science and music connect and finally by creating and performing music and critiquing themselves and their classmates. This worksheet pairs with the book and/or CD of Lemony Snicket's "The Composer is Dead." It is a great little story that allows an inspector to move through the entire orchestra interviewing instruments searching for the murderer of "the composer". It may seem scary, but it isn't, in fact it's quite silly. Listening skills are very important.
