I have created an organized, helpful sub sheet so the sub knows what to do if there's a fire drill, where to find the remotes, which classes have an aid, where to find emergency sub plans, who the helpful students are, when to put up chairs, what to do if a student is absent, etc. Change any category to fit your classroom needs! Here is a simple behavior and attendance chart I print out for my subs. I like to see on one sheet who was absent which class, who didn't have their homework, and how classroom behavior was. One sheet with all this information, quickly updates me upon my return to the classroom.
