Your students will be able to more fluently grasp fact families when they have practice creating facts in multiple ways.  Two versions: With a single ten frameWith 2 ten framesTeacher DirectionsStudents will roll 2 dice, then spin a paperclip to see if they will add or take away. Then they will use counters to show their equation. Lastly, they will write the number sentence. They continue to complete 10 number sentences. This Smartboard interactive game helps students understand and practice using various number operations to make numbers. It also reinforces the concept of fact families. The game gives them one minute to come up with as many number sentences as they can that equal the given number. They then move forward that many spaces on the gameboard.
