I teach foods and nutrition, family development, child psychology, culinary arts, ServSafe manager, and hospitality and tourism. I also worked for the Disney company for four years. Donation letters
Working as an elective teacher, I am always on the hunt for grants to help fund my programs. However, I found that it was much more successful to raise funds through the community. There are two versions of a donation letter that you can edit and use for your classroom. The letter can also serve as evidence for the donator who may want to claim it on their taxes! As a culinary teacher, our funds mostly come straight from the profits made in catering events. Unfortunately, it was still limiting

BS in Nutrition and Food Management, a BS in Education, and an Ed. M in Education and ESOL endorsement. Teaching for 14 years at a 7-12 High School.
Additional biographical information
I used to work for the Disney Company for four years before working as a teacher. I have a great fondness for Disney to this day and LOVE to plan vacations for my family and friends.
