Donation letters

Working as an elective teacher, I am always on the hunt for grants to help fund my programs. However, I found that it was much more successful to raise funds through the community. Amazon Echo waiver (culinary arts focus)

This waiver is for parents about the new technologies such as voice-controlled intelligent devices. This includes the Amazon Echo "Alexa," Google Home, etc. Some school districts believe it is a risk to have such a device in the classroom. I use it for my culinary arts program but the file is editable and can be adapted to fit your classroom needs.

Culinary Arts Alcohol Waiver

In Oregon, culinary arts students are able to use alcohol in their cooking. However, a waiver helps the school district and you as the teacher safe legally. Your state may be the same, in which case this template to use for parents and school district will be of great help! The file is a document format and easy to edit. I also suggest using a school district letterhead. If you are not in Oregon, you will want to add your state's law using alcohol in a high school culinary class setting.
