This is a game that consists of cards that include decimal models, word names, standard form, and fractions. Cut apart the cards, and give each pair of students a set to arrange and match the forms of decimals. A great follow-up activity is the Forms of Decimals Chart I also have for sale.
(Some of the decimal model pictures are in color. For consistency, I suggest printing in black and white on colored cardstock.)
This is a version of an "I Have, Who Has" game that I designed on expanded form on numbers. A student reads aloud his or her card, and the student with the matching card responds by reading aloud his or her card. I designed this product to be a TRULY interactive resource through which students can develop conceptual understanding necessary for multiplication.
What it's NOT:
- Cute foldables that students could easily make out of construction paper
- Wasted copy points
- A one-time activity that the students will never look at again
- Pointless
What is IS:
- Guided note-taking and practice
- Activities meant to develop concepts
- Reference pages for students to refer

This is a great independent assessment to follow the Decimal Match game I also have for sale. Students are given one of the following: decimal word name, decimal standard form, fraction, percent, model...and are required to fill in the remaining blank boxes for each.
