Need a fun, engaging way to practice making sums of ten? This activity can be used as a workshop task or math center, and gives students multiple opportunities to make sums of ten - and other numbers, too!
Students can play by themselves or with a partner. Questions at the end require students to analyze their data.

Teaching style
I love a buzzing, hands-and-minds-on classroom - and I'm not afraid of a little bit of chaos! I love when my students are talking and problem solving together. I use many different models of instruction -- but I like it best when my students are in charge of their learning. I work to provide the opportunity for 'ah ha!' moments.
